The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, is mourning the loss of his 25-year-old daughter, Fatima, who passed away on Friday.

Though the exact details surrounding her death remain unclear at the time of this report, sources confirm that she died unexpectedly, leaving the family in deep grief.

In response to the tragic event, Vice President Kashim Shettima extended his heartfelt condolences to Mele Kyari and his family.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of Fatima’s soul and asked for divine strength to help the bereaved family cope with the profound loss.

Speaking to the family, Shettima said, “May Almighty Allah grant her eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear this great loss.”

The Vice President, along with other sympathizers, attended the funeral prayer held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja, where many came to offer their prayers and support to the family during this difficult time.
