Popular Nigerian social media personality, Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has expressed his willingness to face any investigation surrounding a viral audio clip claiming he served a six-month jail sentence in a private apartment.

The audio, reportedly shared by Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, suggests that Bobrisky served the alleged sentence for the abuse of naira notes in a private residence, allegedly arranged by his godfather and the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service.

In response to rumors and concerns about a potential investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Bobrisky took to Facebook to clarify his stance.

He emphasized that he is no longer afraid and is prepared to cooperate with any investigation, but with certain conditions.

In his post, Bobrisky wrote, “Please, everyone calling to tell me the danger I am in and the plans against me should stop it now and forget it. I don’t want any threats anymore. I was scared because of the story that EFCC would detain me again, and I might be sentenced to prison for a second time.”

The social media influencer further expressed his belief that those attempting to frame him would be exposed by the law. He stated, “God will vindicate me, and those trying to frame me will be exposed. I am ready for any investigation but not in the same EFCC office where I was previously detained. Any investigation should be free of intimidation, and I demand an independent and transparent investigation for the world to witness.”

Bobrisky also took aim at the viral audio, claiming that anyone can manipulate recordings to create false narratives. “Anyone can alter or frame an audio and put it out there. But the fact remains that I did not create or publish any audio. I will meet you all in court if you have any real case against me,” he concluded.

The post comes amidst growing rumors about Bobrisky’s legal troubles, but the controversial figure appears determined to clear his name while demanding fairness in any future proceedings.
