55-Year-Old Woman Dies While Sharing Testimony in Lagos Church

Tragedy struck during a church service in the Iyana, Ejigbo area of Lagos State when a 55-year-old woman, Ifeoma, collapsed and died while sharing her testimony.

According to the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, “At about 11:45 hours, one ‘M’ of Iyana Ejigbo Lagos came to the station and reported that same day at about 08:48 hours during testimony hour in the church while service was on, one Ifeoma ‘F’ age about 55 years old came out singing to give her testimony when suddenly she slumped.”

Hundeyin added that Ifeoma was rushed to a nearby hospital and later referred to the General Hospital Isolo, where she was confirmed dead.

The police spokesperson further stated that detectives were sent to the hospital to investigate the incident. “We were told that the husband and family of the deceased had taken the corpse to Anambra State where she came from for burial,” he said.
