A devastating attack was carried out by gunmen on Tuesday in the Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, leaving a trail of death and destruction in its wake.
The communities of Kwatas and Daffo were targeted, resulting in the loss of seven precious lives, the Special Adviser to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Brigadier General Gakji Shipi (retd), revealed the shocking details to journalists on Wednesday in Jos.
As the Coordinator of Operation Rainbow, a state-owned security outfit, Mr. Shipi is at the forefront of efforts to restore peace and security to the affected areas.
“The attacks, which occurred in Kwatas and Daffo, have left seven people dead and several others injured. Although normalcy has been restored, our pursuit of the perpetrators continues unabated. We will not rest until they are brought to justice”.
“We will not allow them to get away with this dastardly act. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. We will do everything in our power to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future”.
“We are working tirelessly to ensure that peace and security are restored to the affected areas. We urge the public to remain calm and to cooperate with our efforts.” Mr. Shipi declared
