Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani visited LEA Primary and Junior Secondary School in Kuriga over the weekend, following the recent abduction of over 180 students by bandits. The students, who were held captive for two weeks, were freed earlier this year.
During the visit, Governor Sani was greeted warmly by students, teachers, and local community members. He took the opportunity to speak with the students about their experiences and progress since their return, receiving positive and heartfelt responses from them.
Governor Sani reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of students across the state, promising to provide a secure learning environment.
He also inspected recent renovations at the school, which now boasts modern facilities, and expressed his satisfaction with the high-quality work completed.
The visit served as an important morale boost for the students, who are now focusing on their education and looking forward to a brighter future.
