President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 21 new federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The appointees, who are subject to Senate confirmation, include Mrs. Linda Nkechi Oti from Abia, Mr. Akpan Imo Effiong from Akwa Ibom, Mr. Enefe Ekene from Anambra, and 18 others.
The appointments were announced by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Tuesday.
The full list of appointees includes Professor Steve Ugba from Benue, Chief Eyonsa from Cross-River, Aruviere Egharhevwe from Delta, Nduka Henry Awuregu from Ebonyi, Mr. Victor Eboigbe from Edo, Honourable Wumi Ogunlola from Ekiti, and Honourable Ozo Obumreme Obodougo from Enugu.
Others are Alhaji Kabir Ibrahim Mashi from Katsina, Honourable Adamu Fanda from Kano, Dr. Kunle Wright from Lagos, Mr. Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir from Nasarawa, Mr. Bako Shetima from Niger, Mr. Samuel Durojaye from Ogun, Mr. Nathaniel Adejutelegan from Ondo, Honourable Saad Bello Ibrahim from Plateau, Mr. Modu-Aji Juluri from Yobe, Alhaji Bello Rabiu Garba from Zamfara, and Mr. Mohammed Kabeer Usman from Gombe.
The President expects the new commissioners to demonstrate absolute loyalty to the nation in the discharge of their duties.
