TRACE Announces Special Patrol Operation for Eid-El-Kabir in Ogun

Abeokuta, Ogun State – The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) has announced a special patrol operation to ensure safe and orderly roads during the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

According to a release signed by TRACE PRO, Babatunde Akinbiyi, the operation will commence on June 13 and run through June 24, covering 18 major traffic corridors in the state, including the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and the Abeokuta-Kobape-Siun-Interchange Expressway.

TRACE operatives will work in synergy with other safety and security agencies, as well as the public, to ensure safety on the roads. The agency has also designated hotlines (0806 270 3568 and 0803 491 9165) for emergency situations.

Cmdr. Seni Ogunyemi, TRACE Commander, felicitated with the Muslim community and urged them to be safety conscious and adhere to traffic rules and regulations. Any vehicle contravened for traffic infractions during the celebrations will not be released until June 25.

TRACE has assured the public of its commitment to ensuring safe and orderly roads during the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
