Ogun State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has felicitated with the Ministerial nominee from Ogun State, Architect AbdulHakeen Olamilekan ADEGBITE after his successful screening and approval by the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, The Senate.
A press statement personally signed by the Chairman of APC in Ogun State, Chief Derin Adebiyi, said the party was filled with boundless joy over his nomination, successful screening and approval.
“The approval of our ministerial nominee from Ogun State is well-deserved and a welcome development”, Adebiyi stated.
He described Adegbite as “a good ambassador of the state who demonstrated tact, respect, intelligence and uncommon composure throughout the screening process deserving of the honour and high office that he is expected to occupy.”
According to him, the approval of Adegbite’s name by The Senate only confirmed the party’s confidence in the choice of the ready to be designated minister.
He disclosed: “While he was the Commissioner for Works in Ogun State, Adegbite was a high-flyer and star performer. He supervised the state’s infrastructural development as epitomised in the first class flyovers and the network of standard roads across the state during the administration of the immediate past governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun.”
Adebiyi then thanked President Muhammudu Buhari for the nomination, saying it was a sign of confidence in Ogun APC for picking a staunch member of the party in the State as a member of his cabinet at the federal level.
