Keyamo announces resolution of UAE’s visa ban on Nigeria

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo, has announced that the United Arab Emirates, UAE, authorities are set to lift the travel restrictions between UAE and Nigeria.

Keyamo made this revelation while addressing journalists during the welcome dinner for delegates attending the International Air Transport Association, IATA, 80 Annual General Meeting and World Air Transport Summit in Dubai over the weekend. He mentioned that the issues concerning visa denial by UAE have been resolved.

Keyamo further stated that an official announcement regarding the visa ban lift is imminent, with the final processes being fine-tuned.

He expressed appreciation for the importance of UAE as a key partner for Nigeria, citing the significant investments and interests that Nigerians have in the UAE.

Keyamo highlighted the efforts to facilitate easier visa applications and emphasized the positive reception and regard Nigeria receives from the UAE.

He mentioned his privileged experience during the visit, riding with top dignitaries, which symbolized the renewed trust and partnership between both countries.
