Abeokuta, Ogun State – The Ogun State House of Assembly has announced a stakeholders’ forum on the Ogun State Rural and Semi-Urban Integration Development Bill, scheduled for Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The forum will take place at the Conference Hall, ground floor of the House of Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
According to a release signed by the Deputy Clerk of the Assembly, Barr. (Mrs.) ‘Funmi Adeyemi, the forum aims to gather input from stakeholders and professionals on the bill, titled “H.B. NO. 010/OG/2023 – Ogun State Rural and Semi-Urban Integration Development Bill”.
The bill seeks to promote sustainable development in rural and semi-urban areas of Ogun State.
All stakeholders and relevant professionals are urged to attend and contribute to the discussion. The release requested attendees to be seated by 9:30 a.m. prompt.
This stakeholders’ forum provides an opportunity for the Ogun State House of Assembly to engage with stakeholders and ensure that the needs and concerns of rural and semi-urban communities are addressed in the development of the bill.
