EFCC Apprehends Alleged Internet Scammer in Port Harcourt

In a recent operation, the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has detained Ali Desmond Chinedum, a suspected internet fraudster, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The arrest was made based on credible intelligence indicating his alleged involvement in cyber-related crimes.

During the operation, law enforcement recovered various items from the suspect, including an iPhone 11 Pro Max, a Redmi 12 Android mobile device, two United States Navy identity cards bearing numbers 100040041245 and 100010041159, a Mercedes Benz GLK, an HP laptop computer, and assorted charms.

Once investigations are finalized, Chinedum will face charges in court.
