So-safe Nabs 37-Year-Old Robbery Culprit in Ogun

In a recent operation, the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation, and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) successfully apprehended a robbery suspect involved in stealing sliding windows at Iyana Ifako, Alagbon.

The Owode-Yewa Divisional Command operation team, led by SC Fatimoh Idris, captured Ashade Kamoru, a 37-year-old resident of Wawe House, Elekure Street, Alagbon, Owode.

In a press release from the office of the State Commander, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo, through the Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf revealed that the suspect was caught in the act of burgling a vacant building on Ifako Road, where he had taken six sliding aluminum windows. Fortunately, three were recovered on the spot.

During preliminary investigations, Ashade Kamoru confessed to the crime, leading So-Safe Corps officers to the location where he had hidden the remaining three sliding windows with plans to strike again later.

The suspect and the recovered exhibits have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Owode Egbado (Yewa) Police Headquarters for further investigation and potential prosecution.

Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo however emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts in ensuring the safety of the community.
