Ogun Flags Off State Based 26th Edition of Jets Competition

Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology had begun the State Based 26th Edition of Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists’ (JETS) Competition involving learners in Public and Private Junior and Senior Secondary Schools across the State.

Speaking in Abeokuta during the flag off of the programme, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu said the investment of the present administration in the education sector has been paying off, saying all aspects of the system has been touched in one way or another.

Prof. Arigbabu added that the Progressive Science Initiative (PSI) and Progressive Mathematics Initiative (PMI) training, organised by the Ministry was to ensure effective teaching and learning of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics in secondary schools for better performance.
