The Honourable Commissioner of Cooperatives and Empowerment, Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe (Fcssm), passionately advocates for the inclusion of People With Disability (PWD) in the development of Osun State.
During his speech at the ongoing Annual Youth Conference of the Nigeria Association of the Blind (NAB) Southwest zone, held in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, Ogungbangbe assured the National Association of the Blind, Osun State Chapter, and other individuals living with disabilities in the State that His Excellency Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke is committed to partnering with organizations to uplift the prospects of Osun indigenes living with disabilities.
Prince Bayo Ogungbangbe also emphasized that the current government will consistently support and advocate for People With Disabilities in Osun, prioritizing their empowerment and employment opportunities in the State.
Furthermore, the Youth Coordinator of the Nigeria Association of the Blind (NAB) in Osun State made a special appeal to the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for the establishment of a Disability Commission in Osun State to cater for the needs of People With Disabilities (PWD). Ogungbangbe pledged to convey this request to the Governor and the Honourable Speaker of the Osun House of Assembly for prompt consideration.
