APC Group Hails Tinubu Over Appointment of Gbajabiamila, Akume

An All Progressive Congress Group, Bola Campaign Organization (BCO), has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of the Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff, and the Former Governor of Benue State and the immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

BCO hailed these appointments on Friday in a statement jointly signed by its National Patron, Alhaji Abdulwahab Korede Quadri (FCIB), National Coordinator QS Makinta (FNIQS) and Alhaja Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, stressed that the President could not have made better choices.

While describing the duo of Gbajabiamila and Akume as competent, loyal and dedicated leaders who have demonstrated the pan – Nigerian outlooks, charged them to recipocrate the trust reposed in them and serve the nation wholeheartedly without blemish.

The group said, “The leadership of Bola Campaign Organization (BCO) congratulates Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointment of House of Representatives Speaker, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff and Former Governor of Benue State, George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF)”.

“We are optimistic that with these appointments, it will further boost the image and success of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu – led administration”.

“We therefore charge the appointees to recipocrate the trust reposed in them to serve the nation to greater heights”.

“It is our prayers that God Almighty will grant you all the needed knowledge, wisdom and guidance to deliver the service as expected”. it added.

Meanwhile, the appointment of the Chief of staff takes effect from 14th June 2023 when Rt. Hon Gbajabiamila must have ended his tenure as Speaker of the House of Representative on the 13th of June.
