Report Corrupt Practices, EFCC Charges Corps Members

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has called on youths to join hands with the agency in fighting acts of corrupt practices.

Akpos Deborah Mezeh-Ekisowei, Head, Public Affairs Department of the Port Harcourt Zonal Command gave the charge on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Obi/Akpo Local Government Area, Port Harcourt during a sensitization programme of the National Youth Service Corp, NYSC/EFCC Community Development Service, CDS. She urged them to report any act of corruption within their places of primary assignment to the EFCC for possible investigation and prosecution.

“You can enlist into the EFCC anti-corruption fight, become a whistle blower by actively participating in the platforms which have already been established like the EFCC/NYSC CDS Group.

“We are here to tell you not to be involved in crimes and criminality and also to encourage you to join in this fight against corruption”, she said.
