Three persons including a child have been left severely injured when a truck rammed a Mosque in Suleja, Niger State, in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to eye witnesses, the trailer fell on the back section of the Mosque where women and children pray.

The trailer was said to have fallen while the driver tried to negotiate a narrow part of the road blocked by a heap of sand being used for construction of new shops.

It was also gathered that the incident occurred about 6:00 a.m. when majority of the worshipers who converged for the early morning prayers had dispersed and only a few were around to complete their supplications.

The three victims have, however, been taken to Suleja General Hospital for treatment
