Abiodun Wins Ogun Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced the incumbent governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun as the winner of the governorship election held in the state on Saturday.

He is the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, and gets another four fresh years.

Abiodun polled total votes of 276,298 to beat his closest rival of the People’s Democratic Party Governorship candidate, Oladipupo Adebutu who scored 262,383.

The African Democratic Congress candidate Biyi Otegbeye came distant third with 94,754 votes.

However, in Akwa Ibom, INEC has declared Pastor Ume Eno of the People’s Democratic Party as the winner of the governorship election.

In the same development, INEC has also declared Seyi Makinde of the People’s Democratic Party winner of Oyo State Governorship Election.
