IWD 2023: Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Celebrates Resilience, Innovation Of Women

The President of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab Foundation, Aare (Asiwaju) Dapo Wahab has felicitated with women across the world on the commemoration of year 2023 International Women’s Day with the theme, “DigitALL Innovation and Technology”.

Asiwaju Dapo Wahab made this known in a felicitation message personally signed in the early hours of today commanded the strength, power, resilience and innovation of women across the world.

He stated that the International Women’s Day is a day set aside to celebrate social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, while making a call to action for accelerating gender parity and to also recognize the contributions and accomplishments of women in the society.

Asiwaju Dapo Wahab who also advocated for a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination.

He said, “My best wishes to all the vibrant women of Asiwaju Dapo Wahab foundation women’s wing and other women across the globe on the celebration of 2023 international women’s day , themed: “DigitAll: Innovation and Technology in promoting gender equality”.

“Sincerely, I want to tell you that you are all cherished and appreciated, may your efforts not in vain”.

“Purple – which is proved scientifically as combination of blue and red, thus it is traditionally believed to be men and women colour. This has given an idea of gender equality and unity of men and women in the struggle for women’s rights and emancipation from domestic violence”.

“As we are celebrating cultural,political economic and social achievements of our women throughout the globe”.

“I want to implore government at all levels to embrace actionable plans that would accelerate women’s equality such as innovative technology that would promote gender equality and meeting the health and developmental needs of Women and girls for a sustainable society”.

“Once again I wish all our strong and vibrant women greater years of celebration”, he added.
