ABEOKUTA – It was a black day as commotion erupted in the late hours of Tuesday 18th September, 2018 as suspected gunmen attacked Chief Olanrewaju Fadipe at about 4.00p.m along the Lagos – Abeokuta Expressway.
According to an eyewitness who told News correspondent that the man was shot dead in his car as they could not ascertain what could be the cause for the attack.
Further report gathered also made it known that the deceased was the Father of Ishola Olawale Fadipe.
Meanwhile the son of the deceased however told newsmen that the incident that got the life of his father has been reported at the police headquarter, Eleweran, Abeokuta for proper investigation but was surprised to note that nothing has been done to bring the perpetrators to book.
He however expressed dissatisfaction about the development but enjoined the police to do the needful so as to bring the perpetrators to book for prompt punishment.
Ishola olawale Fadipe however noted that Tuesday 18th September, 2018 was an unfortunate day and will continue to linger in his heart.
