Aigoro, Longe, Olori Ameenat Matemilola, others to attend Writers Convention in Ogun

The Ogun State Head of Service, Dr. Nofiu Aigoro, Commissioner for Industry Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe as well as Olori Ameenat Adeleye Matemilola of Owu Kingdom are among the dignataries expected at the Annual Convention and Awards of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Ogun State Chapter, holding on Thursday, 8th of December, 2022.

The convention with the theme: “directing the socio-political ship of the state through writing” will take place at Simeon Adebo Library, Kuto, Abeokuta at 10am.

In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Association, Mr. Dare Adedotun, the Convention and Awards ceremony has Professor Jendele Hungbo of the Department of Mass Communication, Kola Daisi University, Ibadan as Keynote Speaker and Dr Adegbite Tobalase as Book Reviewer.

The wife of the Olowu of Owu Kingdom Abeokuta, Olori Ameenat Adeleye Matemilola is the Book Presenter while the Honourble Commissioner for Industry Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe is the Special of Honour.

One of the highlights of the event would be Award of Recognition on ten distinguished personalities who have contributed & still contributing to the development of education and literacy in Nigeria.

ANA Chairman in Ogun State, Dr. Chris Omotosho is the Chief Host.
