Sixthsense Initiative Partners 720 Innovation Hub To Mark World Volunteers’ Day

As part of activities marking the 2022 United Nations International Volunteer Day “Solidarity Through Volunteering”, an Abeokuta based not-for-profit organisation, The SixthSense Initiative in collaboration with 720 Degree Innovation Hub, is organising a one-day seminar to sensitive people on the unique advantages of volunteerism.

According to a release signed by Abiodun Oladimeji Lasile, Founder, The SixthSense Initiative said the theme of the seminar is “Volunteerism: Cracking the Numeric Gains of Volunteering” scheduled to hold by 10am at 720 Degree Innovation Hub, Adun House, National Library, Ake, Abeokuta on Monday, 5th December, 2022.

Lasile, stressed further that the seminar lectures will be presented by eminent personalities including Prof. Adewale Dipeolu of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and Mr. Ayodele Afolabi, an award winning International Volunteer (UK based).

In the same vein, Olori Aminat Matemilola, Mr. Samuel Omotoso, the Registrar of Chrisland University, Alhaji Adekunle Adegbite, a Retired Permanent Secretary in Ogun State and Otunba Yinka Ola-Williams, the Founder, Lyceum Group of Schools will serve as panelists at the event.

Interested participants are enjoined to register free for the Open Volunteering Seminar online.

Attendees will learn how to teach, engage and to volunteer at the seminar.

They will also have the rare opportunity of interacting with about 70 volunteers and leaders.
