Veteran Broadcaster, Kayode Josephs Takes Over As COO, Yemi Sonde Media Group

Veteran broadcaster, Mr Kayode Joseph has been announced as the Chief Operating Officer of the Yemi Sonde Media Group which includes Yes 101.7 FM, Ibadan, Yes Media Academy and YES MA Radio (an online radio for the academy).

Mr Joseph who has more than thirty five years experience in the broadcast industry was until his appointment the Provost of the Yes Media Academy, the training arm of the Media Group.

Also, Yes 101.7 FM staff members who have been in the organization for the mandatory six months probationary period have had their employment confirmed in accordance with corporate practices while some freelancers with the organization also got their contract ratified and offered full employment..

In his remarks, the Managing Director of the Media Group, Mr Yemi Sonde who said the appointment of Mr Joseph is well deserved considering his rich professional background said the harmonization becomes necessary to help operational procedures amongst the business sub units especially considering its expansion tendencies.

Mr Sonde also congratulated the staff members who had their appointments confirmed reiterating that Yes 101.7 FM will continue to tow the path of professionalism not just in content delivery but human resource management and assured them that their welfare will continue to be a priority.
