Osun NAWOJ To Hold Legislative Stewardship and Good Governance Lecture on Tuesday

Osun Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ will hold a lecture on Legislative Stewardship and Governance”, (Appraisal of Women, Children and Persons with Disability Friendly Bills/Laws in Osun state) on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022.

According to the release by the State Chairperson, Mrs Motunrayo Ayegbayo and the Secretary, Comrade Abisola Ariwodola, the objective of the program includes orientating the community, state and country at large of legislation and good governance, as well as showcasing the impact of representation and leadership and to secure the trust of the citizens.

The lecture is channeled towards insight into Women, Children, Vulnerables and Persons with Disability-related friendly Bills/Laws in Osun.

Osun House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon Timothy Owoeye is the Special Guest of Honour/Key Speaker, while the Chairman of the day is UNIOSUN Pro Chancellor, Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali (SAN).

Also expected is Osun Commissioner of Police, CP Olaleye S. Faleye, The Chairman Society For Life Changers And Good Parental Care: Ambassador Aremu Stephen Akinyele among others.

The Legislative Stewardship and Good Governance program is billed to holds at the NUJ Events Hall, Osogbo at 10am prompt.
