Tambuwal Appoints 24 Directors-General

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state has approved the appointment of twenty-four senior civil servants in the state to the rank of Directors-General.

According to a release signed by  Muhammad Bello, Special Adviser Media and Publicity to the Governor stated that the appointed are:

1. Fatima A. Tafida
2. Adamu Garba
3. Luba Usman
4. Asma’u Bajini Galadanchi
5. Al-Mustapha Alh. Bello
6. Umaru Muhammad Yabo
7. Aminu Liman
8. Babuga Muhammad Binji
9. Shehu Muhammad Goronyo
10. Yahaya Muhammad Daniya
11. Habiba Abdul’azeez
12. Faruku Dandare
13. Ukashatu Muhammad
14. Gado Yusuf Kware
15. Faruku Muhammad Umar
16. Muhammad Nasiru Abubakar
17. Lawali Shehu Tambuwal
18. Habibu Alhaji Tsoho
19. Umaru D. Salah
20. Labaran Aliyu Isa
21. Kulu Muhammad Suleiman
22. Kabiru Shehu Alkanci
23. Hussaina Abdulrazak
24. Dalhatu Altine

All the appointments takes immediate effect.

According to the Head of Civil Service, Abubakar Muhammad (mni), “the appointments were made in consideration of the track record, experience and dedication of the officers in the state service.

“The government admonishes them to see their appointments as a call for greater service to the government and people of Sokoto state,” added the Head of Civil Service, who wished them God’s guidance in the discharge of their new appointments.
