Makinde Lauds Nigerian Army For Curtailing Insecurity In Oyo State

The Governor of Oyo State Engr Seyi Makinde has lauded the Nigerian Army for her hard work and examplary leadership in curtailing insecurity in Oyo State and the nation at large.

The Governor made this revelation when the General Officer Commanding 2 Division Nigerian Army Ibadan, Maj Gen Aminu Chinade, paid him a courtesy call in his office today Thursday 20 October 2022.

The Governor thanked the GOC for providing the required troops for Operation Burst the state security outfit charged with the responsibility of fighting crimes and social vices. He applauded the 2 Division for their professionalism and assistance to the people in time of need.

Earlier, the GOC commended the Governor and the good people of Oyo State for being a good host to the Nigerian Army institutions and other security establishments in Oyo State.

He thanked the Governor for his support and used the opportunity to convey the goodwill message of the Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya to the Governor and the good people of the state.
