NISER Collaborates with EFCC in Fight Against Corruption

The Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research (NISER), Dr. Folarin Gbadebo-Smith has commended the EFCC for its unrelenting efforts in curbing corruption in the country.

He stated this recently when he paid a courtesy visit to the Ibadan Zonal Command.

“Our mission is essentially to let you know that we are here to collaborate with you in combating corruption through socio- economic research and data communication,” he said.

The Ibadan Zonal Commander, ACE II Kanu Idagu who was represented by the Deputy Commander ACE II Hassan Saidu welcomed the NISER boss and his entourage, stating that research and data are essential to the success of the EFCC’s operations. “In the course of our activities, we need this collaboration. We are happy to have you today. This visit shows that whenever we need your assistance, we can always call on you and when you need ours, do not hesitate to call on us” he added.
