Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto state on Saturday condoled Katsina business mogul, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal, over the demise of his mother.
Aged 85 late Hajiya Murja Bara’u, passed away Friday night after a brief illness and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
Gov. Tambuwal, in company of his Jigawa state counterpart, Alhaji Abubakar Badaru, the Deputy Governor of Zamfara state, Barrister Mahdi Aliyu, the former Deputy Governor of Sokoto state, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu Shagari, Sokoto Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bello Muhammad Goronyo and his elder brother, Hon. Abdullahi Waziri, also condoled the people and government of Katsina state.
The entourage was received respectively at Mangal’s residence at Kofar Kwaya quarters and Government House, Katsina, where Gov. Aminu Bello Masari hosted them.
Prayers were held for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
