Some participants of National Agency For The Control Of Aids in Iloko-Ijesa have expressed joy over the payment of N75,000 empowerment fund by NACA.

The participants expressed their happiness while speaking with Owaloko King’s Men in Iloko on Monday.

Some of the participants said it was a shock when they started receiving the credit alert at about 2:00 pm on Monday.

The respondents, who spoke with Owaloko King’s Men, expressed their joy over the payment, noting that the payment was a New Year package from Owaloko.

One of the participants, Mr. Odeyemi Kehinde said it was like a dream when he got a call at about 3:00pm from a fellow participant about the payment.

“We are really grateful for NACA administration especially HRM Oba (Dr) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe for facilitating the program to the community. In fact, this is another Good Monday for us.

“We also thank the Director General of the NACA for making it possible after confirming the implementation few days ago,” he said.

Another participant, Mr. Adeigba Idowu said he still could not believe it but thanked the administration of Owaloko for the kind gesture.

“We have been expecting to receive this N75,000 last week Friday but we thank God that, finally it has been paid.

“Most of us could not sleep after the breaking news at about 2pm even though some banks are yet to pay,” he said.

Another participant, Comrade Olayinka jokingly asked for six months extension of the program.
