FCE Abeokuta lecturer, Chris Omotosho becomes ANA Ogun Chairman

A new executive-led by Dr. Chris Omotosho, has emerged for the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) in Ogun state.

In a keenly contested election held at the Simeon Adebo Library,  Kuto, Abeokuta, the new Chairman described his emergence as the will of God and a new dawn for the Writers’ Association.

Announcing the results of the polls, the Chairman of Election Committee, Dr. Sola Adetutu informed that Dr. Omotosho garnered 15votes to defeat the incumbent Chairman, Engineer Paul Oni who had 14 votes.

In an acceptance speech,  Dr. Omotosho affirmed that his manifesto would be fulfilled as his leadership will be guided by the extant constitution of ANA.

Soliciting members’ support in taking ANA to greater heights,  Dr Omotosho saw the need for togetherness, love and unity as major ingredients towards goal actualisation.

Other elected members of the executive are Dr. Lucky Aikabeli as the Vice Chairman, Bunmi Olatidoye-Secretary, Passover Adedina- Financial Secretary, Mopelola Arowosafe-Treasurer and Dare Adedotun as the Public Relations Officer.

The election was held on Saturday 11th December, 2021.
