President of the Living Faith Church International, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has warned Nigerian youths to shun what he called get-rich-quick syndrome.

Oyedepo gave the advice at the 8th Convocation of Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara State, held on Friday.

Oyedepo, who is the institution’s Chancellor and visitor, warned youths that impatience could lead to a life of horror.

He said, hurry is the breeding ground for horror. It is common knowledge that most victims of accidents are men and women in a hurry, insensitive to road signs and who engage in over speeding, ending their lives before they know.

He added that the word ‘patience’ is no longer in the vocabulary of our youths. They don’t believe in the dignity of labour, leading to many losing their lives.
