Lagos Redeploys Permanent Secretaries

Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, has announced the reassignment of the portfolios of eight Permanent Secretaries to reinvigorate the State’s policy implementation apparatus.

A circular signed by Muri-Okunola listed the redeployed officials as: Mr. Oluseyi Whenu, who was moved from the Ministry of Commerce and Cooperatives to the Ministry of Home Affairs; Mr. Abiodun Bamgboye was redeployed from Local Government Establishments and Pensions Office to the Local Government Service Commission; Dr. Olayiwole Shakiru Onasanya will now serve as Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission upon deployment from the Civil Service Pensions Office.

In the same vein, the former Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, Mrs. Sinatu Bandele Fadipe, has been posted to the Civil Service Pensions Office, while Dr. Amudaliu Yusuph Jimoh was transferred from Parastatals Monitoring Office to the Audit Service Commission.

Other redeployments announced by the Head of Service are: Mr. Olujimi Ige, who moves from Debt Management Office to the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment; Mr. Sewanu Temitope Hundogan will assume duty at the Office of Finance upon statutory retirement of the current Permanent Secretary at the end of October 2021.

Also, Mrs. Mobolaji Mojisola Daba will assume duty as the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Deputy Governor from the Local Government Service Commission.

The redeployments take immediate effect.
