Insecurity: NACCIMA Postpones 61st AGM, Investiture of new President

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has postponed its 61st Annual General Meeting and Investiture of the 21st National President, Ide J.C. Udeagbala earlier scheduled to hold in Aba from Wednesday 2nd June to Thursday 3rd June, 2021 till further notice.

The postponement was made known in a circular to all NACCIMA members and signed by its National President, Hajiya Saratu Iya Aliyu on Sunday 30th May, 2021 and obtained by Tropic Reporters correspondent.

“After due consultations within NACCIMA, Presidency and with members across the country, this is to inform all members of NACCIMA of the postponement of the 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) / Annual Conference and Investiture Ceremony of the new National president previously scheduled for 2nd and 3rd June at Aba”.

“The postponement is due to the unfolding current deterioration of the security situation in that part of the country”.

“Further announcement will be made on the new dates and arrangements for both the AGM and Investiture Ceremony”.

“We regret any inconveniences this postponement may have caused members”.
