Osun Monarch, Oba Sanusi Adefemi Joins His Ancestors

Another Osun State traditional ruler, Oba Abdulkareem Sanusi Adefemi, Abiade 1, the Alabere of Abere in Ede North Area Council has joined his ancestors.

It was learnt that the monarch passed on after a brief illness on Tuesday night at the age of 91 was the first Alabere of Abere following his upgrading from the village chief to a king by the Osun State government.

The monarch gave up the ghost at the Muslim hospital, Ede.

Meanwhile, causes of his death could not be as ascertained as at press time but could be attributed to old age.

A source disclosed to Journalist, that the interment arraignment would be done on, Wednesday, April 28, 2021.
