Iya Yi To L’eko Movement Mourns Passage Of Coker, Rasak

Lagos prominent group “Iya Yi To L’eko Movement”, a group established to advocate for good governance and poverty alleviation in Lagos has mourned the passing of Chief Nathaniel Folarin Coker (OON) and Chief Lanre Rasak.

According to seperate statements by Iya Yi To L’eko Movement Director of Operations, Mr. Segun Popoola described the passing of the late Chief Nathaniel Folarin Coker popularly known as ‘Baba Eto of Lagos’ as a great loss to Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.

He also stated further that the death of Chief Lanre Rasaq, a stalwart of the All Progressives Party (APC) in Lagos State is a collosal loss, not only to the movement but by extension the government and the good people of Lagos state.

Popoola said that both Chief Nathaniel Folarin, 97, and Chief Lanre Rasaq, 74, contributed immensely towards the development of Lagos State politically and socially.

The group however condoled with the Coker and Rasak families, associates, the people and government of Lagos State over the loss, while praying God to grant the late prominent Lagos politicians peaceful resting place.
