Ogun NYSC Co-ordinator inaugurates Committee to prevent spread of COVID-19

The NYSC Ogun State Coordinator. Dr (Mrs) Belinda Ameze Faniyi has inaugurated a Committee on the implementation of guidelines on the control and prevention of COVID-19 in work place at the State Secretariat .

Chairing the inaugural meeting , she charged members to come up with suggestions on how best to carry out the assignment based on the terms of reference .

The State Coordinator who has been in the forefront of ensuring that Corps Members use their creative ingenuity in contributing to the fight against COVID-19 in Ogun State gave brief of the various contributions of Corps Members in the fight against the dreaded disease.

She noted that Corps Members in Ogun State were amongst the first in the country to produce and donate anti-COVID-19 materials to State government, adding that the committee should ensure that Corps Members are encouraged to continue to use their creative instinct in contributing to the fight against the dreaded disease.

While tasking some Corps Members to come up with a radio jingle on COVID-19, she graciously approved the release of an official vehicle and the Public Address System to be used by Corps Members for public sensitization against COVID-19.
