45 Outstanding Pupils in Ogun State: Integrity Campaign Club Begins Screening, May 18

Integrity Campaign Club has announced date for the screening of contestants who registered for the Children’s Day Quiz, Spelling Bee and Speaking Competitions organized to advance extra curricular activities among students in the Gateway State from all the 20 Local Government Areas.

The first stage in the series of screening which will produce 45 Outstanding Pupils in Ogun State will have them choose any of the three Public Speaking topics in their category.

The topics, according to the Secretary General of the Club, Engr. Olumayowa Idowu are:

A. PRIMARY SCHOOL
1.Education makes us happier people.

Texting while driving is dangerous.
Parents should create more time for their children.
B. JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Technical training is better than a university degree.

5.Students should be allowed to have mobile phones in primary and secondary schools.

The way out of insecurity in Nigeria
C. SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Community service should be a graduation requirement for all senior secondary school students.

Every student should be required to learn at least one foreign language.

The way out of security challenges in Nigeria

The screening which will hold in phases is scheduled to hold as follows:

Egba zone 18th May, 2021

Venue: Abeokuta Grammar School, Idi-Aba.
Time: 10am

Yewa zone: 19th May, 2021
Venue: Yewa College, Ilaro and Iganmode Grammar School
Time: 10am

Ijebu zone 20th May, 2021
Venue: Adetola Odutola College, Ijebu Ode
Time: 10am

Remo zone: 21st May, 2021
Venue: Remo Secondary school, Sagamu
Time: 10am

While nothing that only those who scale through stage one proceed to stage two and final stage which are impromptu speeches, organizers promised to be impartial in their judgement.

It would be recalled that Integrity Campaign Club has gotten the support of the Ogun state government via the Ministry of Education among other partners with lot of prizes for winning contestants.

Meanwhile, the Firstlady, Her Excellency Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun is expected to host the 45 Outstanding Pupils on May 26 at the June Cultural Centre.
