The leadership of Yoruba Presidential Agenda led by the National Director of Projects, Comrade Ajayi Taiwo has made known it’s plans ahead of Presidential election come 2023.
This was made known during it’s maiden press release informing the general public about the mission 2023 Presidential project tagged “2023 YOOBA PRESIDENTIAL AGENDA’S PROJECT”,( 2023YPAP).
The release read in parts, “THE 2023YPAP is just one of the four points Developmental agendas for South western region.”
It added that,” The National Leadership of the project’s STRUCTURE after a special strategic meeting held in Ilorin Kwara State recently took a firm stand to jointly address a press Conference and make a statement in a press release to inform the WORLD WITH SPECIAL REFERENCES TO AFRICANS, NIGERIANS, YORUBAS, IBO ,FULANIS AND OUR PEOPLE IN DIASPORA ABOUT THE BIRTH OF THIS PROJECT.”
It was further observed that “The 2023 YOOBA PRESIDENTIAL AGENDA IS A PROJECT OF SOUTHWEST PROGRESSIVE YOUTHS AND PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT IN CONJUNCTION OF COALITION OF PROMINENT PROGRESSIVE GROUPS IN THE REGION.”
“OUR VISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE PRESENT PROGRESSIVE GOVERNMENT TO SUCCEED AND ENSURE THAT WE STRATEGISE AND LOBBY THE PARTY TO GIVE THE 2023 PRESIDENTIAL TICKET TO THE SOUTHWEST.”
“OUR MISSION IS TO MAKE OTHER GEOPOLITICAL ZONES IN THE COUNTRY REASON WITH US AND GET THERE COMPLETE SUPPORT TO ENSURE THAT WE STRATEGICALLY MOBILISE NIGERIANS BOTH WTHIN AND OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY TO ACCEPT AND SUPPORT THE CONTINUITY OF THE PRESENT PROGRESSIVE GOVERNMENT AND BY EXTENSION THE NIGERIA POLITICAL ZONING PRINCIPLES. “
It was stressed that,”our ultimatum goal is to at the end it all not only to ensure that the 2023 presidential ticket goes to a very qualified Yoruba progressive personality but to MOBILIZE Nigerians for the victory of our party come 2023.”
It was reiterated that the task ahead was a collective responsibility which would need great mobilizers.
