The Ijebu born surveyor, Taiye Taiwo, has declared his intention to contest for Ijebu East state Constituency in the Ogun stateHouse of assembly OGHA.
The declaration ceremony which has in attendance, Ikija-Ijebu Ward 6 party chairman, Mr. Ogunye Anthony Alaba, Otunba Gbenga Taiwo, Otunba Oshidina, member Ijebu mushin Ward 1, Hon. Hamzat Moshood Olukayode, Mr Adeeko Olasunkanmi among others.
Surv. Taiwo declared his intention on Sunday before some APC members, market leaders, artisans, friends, and associates at the All Progressive Congress, APC, Ijebu-Ikija Ward 6, Ijebu East local government, Ogun State
In his speech, Sur. Taiwo said, he will make bold steps towards facilitation of adequate socio-physical infrastructure and employment opportunities for the youth.
“If I’m given the opportunity, i will make bold steps towards facilitation of adequate socio-physical infrastructure, employment opportunities for the youth, empowerment of artisans and those involved in Agricultural related business”. He said
“Land ownership assurance, soft loan for market woman, assurance of security for lives and properties is guaranteed”.
Surv. Taiwo however promised the people of the Ijebu East constituency quality representation, and to promote transparency and accountability through legislative governance, which will bring progress and development to the entire Ijebu East constituency.
Earlier on in a welcome address, the Ward chairman, Mr. Ogunye Anthony Alaba, appreciate all members for their coordinates, and advice all candidates to continue to be an ambassador of peace within and outside the constituency.
“I’m very much happy to seeing the atmosphere around, and I want to believe our candidates are using maturity as expected of them”. Said Ogunye
“Here seated, i can see Taiwo opponent with a smiling face, which shows there’s no enemity in our candidates”.
Speaking at the declaration ceremony, Otunba Gbenga Taiwo described Surv. Taiwo as a man with vision who is capable of the task ahead, adding that his vast experience is the leading line.
“To be sincere, Surv. Taiwo is a calm person i knew not only today, he’s capable with a better vision, with his experience, I’m very sure he will deliver and represent us we’ll”. He noted.
