2023: South West Lawmakers Drum Support For Tinubu

As electioneering campaigns have taken the center stage, Nigeria’s Former and Current Lawmakers of the six south western state’s have drummed support for the Presidential ambition of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima to ensure their victory in all legislative constituencies across the state in 2023.

Speaking during the official Inauguration of Parliamentarians Directorate of South West under the aegis of Presidential Campaign Council in Lagos on Friday, the Group’s Director and Former House of Representatives Speaker, Rt. Hon. Patricia Olubunmi Etteh, said the group would deploy the right strategies required to win the next election.

She expressed optimism that APC stand a chance of retaining power at the center giving the dexterity of its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, his performance in Lagos State as governor and the innovations he pioneered that has placed the state on a cruise altitude so far.

While calling on supporters to collect their voter’s cards and be ready to vote in 2023, said all politics are grassroots and must be viewed from the context of its local nature.

In the same vain, an Oyo State Former Commissioner, Hon. Kazeem Adedeji also expressed confidence that APC in the state will deliver massive votes for its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general poll, despite the presence of People’s Democratic Party in the state.

He made this position known during an interview with newsmen shortly after the official Inauguration of the group in Lagos on Friday.

He however reassured electorates of Tinubu’s decision to break the shackles of poverty and destitution by improving the living standards of Nigerians if elected.

Members present at the Inauguration include; Senator Ganiyu Solomon, Hon. Rotimi Makinde, Hon. Anthony Adeniyi, Hon Suraj Adekunbi, among others.
