11 suspected langrabbers nabbed in Ibafo

The Ibafo Police Division has arrested 11 members of  landgrabbing syndicate who were planning to invade Ibafo and Mowe in Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State.

Their arrest followed a distress call received by the police that some suspected langrabbers were planning to attack land owners and take possesion of thier lands with force.

Upon the distress call, Ibafo Police Division mobilised  their men to the hotel, Datmond  where the suspects lodged and arrested them.

The suspects arrested were Teriba from  Ikorodu, Dada doyin, emesi Berger , Jamiu Makinde and others.

Report has it that the suspects were arrested with various charms, cutlasses pistols and other dangerous weapons.

It was further  gathered that the suspects  who are in the custody of the  Ibafo Police Division will be taken to the Commissioner of Police tomorrow at Eleweran.
