Leaders of an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, Bola Campaign Organization (BCO), has described the late Alhaja Abibat Mogagi as a selfless and exemplary leader during her life time.
Bola Campaign Organization revealed this in a statement signed by its National Patron, Alhaji Abdulwahab Korede Quadri (FCIB) and National Coordinator, QS Mohammed Makinta (FNIQS) to commemorate the 10th year remembrance of the late President of Lagos State Market Women Association and Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, who died on 15th June 2013, at the age of 96.
While commending the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Iyaloja of Lagos State, Alhaja Folashade Tinubu – Ojo for being strong and championing the legacies of their late matriarch, urged leaders from all spheres of life to emulate the leadership, legacies and exemplary life of the late Alhaja Mogaji.
The group however prayed that God Almighty will continue to strengthen, sustain and comfort those she left behind.
“As you commemorate the 10th year remembrance of your matriarch, Alhaja Abibat Mogagi, the late Iyaloja of Lagos and Iyaloja-General of Nigeria who passed on 15th June, 2013, at the age of 96”.
“The late Alhaja Abibat Mogagi was an amazing and exemplary leader and an amazing special woman “.
“She was a fantastic social crusader, worthy of emulating and we are glad that her legacies have been built on to outlive her”.
“It is our prayer to the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Iyaloja of Lagos State, Alhaja Folashade Tinubu -Ojo and other family members that the Lord Almighty will continue to strengthen, sustain and comfort those she left behind”, BCO added.
